Steve Wood (Senior Training Coordinator) has worked in the Drug User Health field since 1986, in several different disciplines as a trainer and curriculum writer, as well as several years providing direct-service to the community. Steve has helped to establish drug user health programs throughout the country, and trained a multitude of Community Health Workers in Maryland, on Drug User Health under the TEACH Program and the OADPOP Academy. Before coming to HealthHIV, Steve served as Director of a large community service program which advocated for the rights of people who use drugs, as well as connecting them to services. Steve has extensive experience serving this community as a community-facing worker, as an administrator, and as a trainer.

Lauren Going, LCSW-C, is a Maryland-based licensed psychotherapist and founder of Expand Your Self Wellness, a practice specializing in trauma-informed and psychedelic-assisted therapy. With more than 17 years of clinical experience, she integrates evidence-based approaches including IFS, EMDR, somatic therapies, and psychedelic integration support. Lauren has served as a therapist and research clinician on major psychedelic studies through Johns Hopkins, Sheppard Pratt, Sunstone, and MAPS, and is recognized for her work advancing safe, ethical, and person-centered psychedelic care.
Ryan Delaney entered the Behavioral Health Field in 2013, starting by working for the sober living program he had completed the year prior. Ryan quickly found purpose and passion in the work and committed to expanding his scope of influence. Since then, he has worked in a variety of direct patient care and leadership roles across the mental health and drug user health spaces. From Arizona to Maryland, Ryan carries a breadth of organizational knowledge and experience with him, while remaining committed to curiosity and a desire to continue improving his capacity for helping those in need.
